Eric Johanson shines a much need new light on blues, blues-rock. His New Orleans background and instinctive love of music weave a refreshing - and in some cases, breathtaking - tapestry with the life’s pain, hurdles and defeats as it’s primary threads. His ability to pull mood and emotion from each stitch is a defining talent. “Live Oak”, “Never Tomorrow” and “Burn It Down” are just a few examples.
